Dear Shiloh Fanciers:
I appreciate your interest in my dogs,
and am enclosing some information that you may find helpful. Please take a
few minutes to look at the Policies and Prices. The information listed
should answer most of your questions. Since we only sell Gold papered dogs
to Licensed breeders or on C/O or B/A contracts, we reduce the prices
drastically. Gold quality pups reduced to ORA papers provide the new owner
a 30% discount! Therefore a puppy valued at $4500 would actually sell for
$3150—less the other –repeat (20%), prepaid (10%) or member (10%)
applicable discounts.
Example: A Gold
papered SHOW quality male (valued at $4,500) on B/A would be reduced (25%)
to $3,375. If this was a second puppy (repeat –20%) sale, by a club
member and/or prepaid, another 10% could be deducted, etc. The final price
would be $2,187. An ORA puppy selling for $1,750 to a repeat customer is
reduced 20% to $1400. If prepaid (-10%) by a club (SSDCA, Inc.) member,
the final price would be $1,134. An awesome (not-upgradeable) pet quality
pup would cost such a person only $486. If applicable, you can receive up
to 55% in total discounts. Please take some time to study our policy very
carefully.
I try to encourage these discounts in order to keep more control over my
gene pool. If you are not a registered kennel, I would much rather sell
you a beautiful giant (show quality) puppy with non-breeding or restricted
papers, in order to ensure the future welfare of my breed. .Please read an
article I wrote for the SSDCA, Inc. Newsletter explaining where “Pets”
come from. People that are
just interested in purchasing “GOLD” papered pups so that they can
breed without any restrictions, mass producing questionable progeny, are
advised to go elsewhere.
I have dedicated my life to the development of this breed, and it is
breaking my heart to think that others are now “jumping in” to
possibly destroy what it has taken me nearly 4 decades to perfect!
