This year's Advisory Board  election is a vital one for members of the SSDCA, Inc. Please cast your ballot only after careful consideration of each candidate's platform. Remember that the role of the Advisory Board is to  represent the wishes of the members! They are your voice to the Executive Board. 
 

The Executive Board consists of the President, Vice-President and Secretary. The Vice-President and Secretary are appointed by the President and serve at her discretion, as per the SSDCA Constitution.

As per Tina's letter to the membership, take the time to consider each nominee's "campaign speech".  Think about each candidate and what they have done for the club over the past several years. This is not a popularity contest. The Advisory Board's job is to represent your needs to the Executive Board, not their own! Make sure that the people you select are committed to you!

The ballot (see sample below) should be returned to the SSDCA by 8/10/2002 or turned in at Homecoming.  Please write your membership number on the ballot and vote for up to 5 candidates. Ballots received without a valid membership number or where more than 5 candidates have been chosen will not be counted. If you don't remember your SSDCA membership number, please check your SSDCA membership card, the mailing label of your newsletter or contact our membership coordinator.
