The weather could not have been better!! It was cool, slightly overcast and breezy. Perfect for our National Specialty! It took two full tables to hold all of the trophies and ribbons that would be presented that morning. Our judge was aware of the fact that most of the owners had little, if any, experience showing their dogs and was extremely patient with all participants. Excitement mounted as the dogs kept lining up "on deck". Many spectators gathered in various groups on all sides of the ring, while others preferred to stay under the tent. It was actually hard to take pictures without having to step over dogs while moving around on the outside.

Olga from Seattle was in shock when her puppy "Libby" walked out of the ring with a big trophy and Championship points! By splitting the coat varieties, we actually held two shows in one! That means that 10 males and 10 females could either be finishing their championships or becoming officially "pointed"!

Yearly since 1974, Shiloh Shepherd™ owners and fanciers from across the continent (and beyond)  have had the privilege of attending Homecoming, an event started by our Breed Founder, Tina Barber, and sponsored, since 1991, by the Shiloh Shepherd™ Dog Club of America, Inc.

Unfortunately we have not been able to share the original pictures taken prior to 1998 due to the tragedy that befell the original Shiloh Shepherds™ farm, but some of them may still be seen inside of the old Newsletters!!

Thanks to Rich Lewis and Karen Ursel, we have been able to recreate ALL of the recent years, since 1996, and would like to share these pages with you!
